"So much has gone into the whole album & I really hope you all relate & love it as much as I do."

It seems that in preparation for her new career, Steph has wiped her Instagram account to start again – and it now predominately features pictures of her singing.

The star's first brush with fame was when she auditioned to be Dorothy on BBC Over The Rainbow back in 2010 and wowed the judges with her impressive singing voice.

She is best known for previously playing Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks.

But in May of this year she landed a part in Corrie playing Courtney, however bosses now feel her character has run it’s course.

A source said: “Steph was over the moon to land a part on Corrie after things went so wrong on Hollyoaks and she had genuinely impressed with her work and commitment to the ITV soap.

“Naturally she’d hoped that maneater Courtney could stick around for a good few years but bosses feel like the story arc is complete – she’s not being killed off, though, so there’s no reason why Courtney couldn’t one day return and the door remains open to Steph.”
