EastEnders’ Freddie Slater to be jailed as Bobby Brazier takes break from soap

EastEnders star Freddie Slater, played by Bobby Brazier, could be facing jail time for attempted murder, AI has claimed.

The actor, 20, joined the cast back in 2022 and recently picked up a National Television Award for Rising Star. However, Bobby is set to take a break from the programme whilst he competes in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.

And now, after shocking scenes in Tuesday's instalment (October 3) it’s been ‘revealed’ how Bobby’s character Freddie is going to leave. And it’s not looking good for the cheeky chap.

In the latest episode, Stacey Slater’s stalker Theo amped things up and continued his horrific behaviour, Home alone, Stacey almost found herself the victim of sexual assault after Theo broke in with shocking incidents unfolding.

Freddie ended up interrupting Theo trying to rape Stacey and quickly attacked him to try to make him stop. However, consumed with rage Freddie couldn’t stop hitting Theo with an iron – who lay on the floor motionless in a pool of blood. Stacey looked on in horror and feared that Freddie had killed him.

Following the shocking scenes, Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if Freddie could be facing jail time for attempting to murder Theo. It said that Freddie getting sent to jail is the “most likely outcome.”

The program explained: “Freddie has committed a serious crime. However, it is possible that he could receive a suspended sentence or other form of punishment, depending on the mitigating circumstances.”

Bard AI also noted how Freddie “could be released on bail.” It said: “This could happen if his lawyers can convince the judge that he is not a flight risk and that he will appear in court for his trial.”

However, Freddie being found not guilty “is less likely” according the system. Bard AI said: “But it is possible that the jury could decide that Freddie was acting in self-defense or that he was not mentally responsible for his actions at the time of the crime.”

Fans have also echoed the AI system’s thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter. One fan said: “Poor Freddie, I take it he goes to jail and that's his exit for strictly or he runs away?”

Someone else chimed in and penned: “Now bobby is gonna go to jail or something and they gonna make it seem like this idiot is innocent again.” A third mused: “Now Freddie gonna go jail. Crazy like!!”

The details of Freddie’s temporary exit have been kept under wraps so far. But when it was announced he was taking part in Strictly he confirmed he will be taking a break from the soap. Bobby said: “I'm taking a break. I’ve filmed it all, and I’m not telling you. I’ll be back.”
