Holly Willoughby has shared some smiley snaps after Phillip Schofield is said to have ‘moved on’.
The former This Morning presenter, 61, removed all traces of his former colleague from Instagram, with a source saying that he’d ‘moved on for good now’.
Schofield quit the ITV programme earlier this year amid rumours he and Holly were ‘barely speaking’.
Days later, he sensationally resigned from the broadcaster in full and admitted his ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a younger employee.
Holly later admitted she was ‘shaken, troubled, let down’ and ‘full of questions’ and spoke about how it’s been ‘a difficult year’ at the recent National Television Awards.
However, things soured even more just days ago, when it was revealed Schofield removed all pictures of the pair together on his Instagram.
A source said: ‘Holly and Phil used to post pictures together for fun, they were huge parts of one another’s lives and they loved to show their viewers how close they are.’
The insider added to MailOnline: ‘The fact that Phil appears to have removed them from his page is very telling about how he feels about Holly.
‘He seems to have moved on for good now, and is trying to leave Holly behind.’
While Metro can confirm he no longer follows Holly on Instagram and pictures of them do not appear on his page, neither have spoken out about the claims.
But Holly’s lifestyle brand Wylde Moon has shared some snaps of the star celebrating summer in Italy.
One picture shows her in a stunning floral summer dress grinning next to an Aperol Spritz, while another shows her pups waiting by the gate for a walk.
‘Holly Willoughby has just posted photos from her anniversary trip to Italy and other summer memories in her ‘Postcards from the Summer 2023’ WYLDE Moonboard…at the link in our bio,’ the account posted.
Holly, 42, enjoyed the romantic trip celebrating her wedding anniversary to husband Dan Baldwin.
She wrote on her Wylde Moon blog: ‘Our 16th wedding anniversary collided with Blur’s 35th-anniversary reunion tour, and as life-long fans, Dan and I went to go and see them perform in Lucca, Tuscany.’
Holly added: ‘That area of Italy always holds a special place for us as it’s where Dan’s mum, Sandra, was from.
‘The day after the concert, we hopped on a train to Florence as I’ve never been before.
‘I know everyone says the same thing but we were completely blown away by everything we saw.
‘Michelangelo’s ‘Statue of David’ has an energy around it unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
