Both the Kennedy family and the Bouvier family seem to have a lot of skeletons in their closets. Like most families, they try to keep their secrets as hidden as possible, or at least attempt to show a picture-perfect version for the public to see. However, resurfaced details from the 2019 book The Fabulous Bouvier Sisters: The Tragic and Glamorous Lives of Jackie and Lee spilled all the details about Jackie Kennedy and younger sister Caroline “Lee” Radizwill’s rocky relationship, including how Jackie allegedly kept her sister on her enemies list.

Authors Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger claimed that Jackie kept an enemies list, including names such as her own sister’s. Why? Because Radizwill allegedly had an affair with John F. Kennedy.

The authors delved into Lee’s affair with JFK, how Jackie reacted (and how Jackie eventually married Aristotle Onassis, also known as the man the man Lee was in love with).

Along with putting her on her enemies list, Jackie left her sister nothing in her will after she passed away. Per the book, Jackie reportedly wrote, “I have made no provision in this my will for my sister, Lee B. Radziwill, for whom I have great affection, because I have already done so during my lifetime.”

Mrs. Kennedy is in town for a few days to do some shopping and possibly buy some antiques for the White House.

Now, what proof is there that Lee and JFK had an affair? Well, one of Jackie’s best friends Gore Vidal claimed that Lee’s first husband Michael Canfield told him the affair happened. Vidal claimed he said: “There were times when… I think [Lee] went perhaps too far. Like going to bed with Jack in the room next to mine in the south of France and then… boasting about it.”

The sisters had a rocky relationship, to put it lightly. They were constantly put against each other by their parents growing up, with allegations stating Jackie was their father’s favorite and Lee was their mother’s favorite.
