Taskmaster star storms off Channel 4 set after disqualification – and is forced to apologise to panel | The Sun

A TASKMASTER star stormed off the Channel 4 set after being disqualified from a task.

The Channel 4 show is currently airing its 16th series and stars Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins and Susan Wokoma.

The five comedians took part in a series of tasks including a live one in the studio at the end of the show.

It required them to pull a drink placed on the end of a roll of toilet paper towards them and then sip it.

However, they were not allowed to cross a red line in front of them, and the fastest person won.

The five stars had three rounds to get through, with the drinks varying in size as they went along.

He said: "I'm so sorry Greg, we've analysed the footage and unfortunately Lucy's fingertips did cross the line and we said no part of your body could…"

Before he could finish, Lucy dropped her drink on the ground and stormed off the stage in anger at the decision, as the audience laughed.

But with a third round still to go, she then returned to the stage and apologised to Greg and the audience for her behaviour.

She said: "I'm sorry I did that, I just got really angry, I'm sorry."

It wasn't all bad for Lucy though, as she ended up finishing third and received three points from Greg.

Taskmaster airs Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4.
