Strictly's Adam Thomas admits 'the show curse has already happened' as he compares partner Luba to his wife Caroline | The Sun

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Adam Thomas admitted the "show curse has already happened".

The ex-Emmerdale star – who is partnered with Russian dancer Luba Mushtuk – compared the pro-dancer to his wife Caroline, who he has been married to since 2017.

Adam, 35, spilled the beans on some of the juiciest backstage gossip, including details on the infamous Strictly curse.

He told his brothers Ryan and Scott on their podcast Mancs on the Mic: "The Strictly curse has happened.

"I know…I couldn't believe it myself but me and Luba…."

But it's not all as it seems as Adam quipped: "I'm joking," which promoted a gasp from his two brothers, before they began to chuckle.

"Backstage I was so nervous I thought I was going to throw up because I've been working on this routine for so long, and then the night finally came, and then I found out that I was going first.

"My head, my mind, everything just went to mush, I completely forgot the routine. I was like, 'there's no way I can do this' and then I literally got on stage with Luba and I'm sat there and I'm like “I don't know the routine'.

"Thankfully, my legs did… [I went into] autopilot and my legs just looked up at me and went 'don't worry, mate, we'll take it from here, you just keep smiling, mate.”
