DEE-DEE Bailey has been focusing on her career since she first rocked up the cobbles.
But love is on its way to her when a newcomer in Coronation Street begins to pursue her.
Hollyoaks star Callum Lill joined the ITV soap's line-up as he was cast as Joel Deering, a duty solicitor.
The new character is set to strike up a romance with established Weatherfield resident Dee-Dee Bailey (portrayed by Channique Sterling-Brown).
In recent months, Dee-Dee was suspected to embark on a relationship with criminal Damon Hay but he, instead, chose to have an affair with Sarah Platt.
This led to the Underworld PA finding out that she was pregnant and Dee-Dee Bailey was the first to figure out what she'd been up to with Damon.

This remains to be seen but Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) soon gets involved.
When Adam finds out that Dee-Dee turned down a date with Joel in order to spend the evening with him, he engineers a plan to get them together.
