ITV Emmerdale fans work out life-changing Mack DNA twist which will rip two families apart

Emmerdale viewers have watched as Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) lost his son Reuben as Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) fled the village.

Chloe was heartbroken when she discovered Mack was still in love with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and thought they could continue playing happy families.

Unfortunately it seems there may be more heartache for Mack after Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw revealed Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is hiding a big secret.

Fans think this secret will see Moira reveal she is actually Mack's mother, not just his sister.

Laura previously told Metro.co.uk: "It’s a secret from her past that she’s going to reveal.

"She does it in a way to try to help the person that she’s talking to, but how is that person going to react when they find out Moira’s deepest, darkest secret?"

Commenting on the twist, one fan theorised: "I fear Mack is indeed Moira's biological son, the way she being acting around Reuben and Chloe recently hints towards this."

"The way Moira keeps going on to Chloe, that she will always be a part of their lives, gives me feeling Ruben is actually her grandson," a second added.

A third continued: "Thought for ages Mack is her son."

While Moira and Mack's families could be ripped apart, one couple will be getting married after a Christmas engagement.

Despite turning down Tom King the first time, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) will say yes when he pops the question again.

Laura confirmed to press including OK!: "Belle and Tom are going to move on in their relationship.

"I think we’ve already hinted a little bit that there may be more going on in their relationship, but what we will see is them building their it.

"Wedding bells come in on Valentine’s Day, of course, because we’re a soap so we have to do weddings on Valentine’s Day.

"But is it going to be their happy ever after? We’ll have to see."

And finally Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) will struggle with her feelings toward baby Ivy as she wants to step in and take on a maternal role.

"We’ve recently seen on screen Lucy died just after the birth of baby Ivy.

"What we’ll see going forward is just Gus starting to struggle a little bit with his grief and with being a single parent to little Ivy and that’s going to hugely impact on Rhona and Marlon’s Christmas.

"How is Marlon going to cope if Rhona wants to reach out and help baby Ivy? Will Gus let Rhona help with baby Ivy?"
