Josie Gibson is struggling to cope with jungle life with fears she could become the third contestant to quit gruelling ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The This Morning host, 38, won Big Brother in 2010 but is finding the living conditions in Australia much tougher and is seriously missing her son Reggie. During Friday's (December 1) episode, viewers got a taste of how hard she was finding things as she said she shouldn’t have left her son to do the show. Josie had a cry in the toilet before being joined by Danielle Harold.

The former EastEnders actress asked: "What’s the matter?" Josie replied: "I just miss my little boy. I shouldn’t have ever left him this long." Danielle comforted her and said: "100% you should, you’re showing him that you’re a strong mum, strong woman. So proud of you babe. “I hate seeing you upset. You’re the best mum."

Josie was then shown in the Bush Telegraph and admitted: "Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I’ll never leave him this long again, ever." The TV presenter is not alone in being emotional and considering leaving, with YouTuber Nella Rose having also discussed the prospect of leaving earlier this week.

It comes after Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent both quit the jungle. After Britney Spears' younger sister decided to leave camp, a show spokesperson confirmed: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celeb on medical grounds. She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”

Since the 2023 season premiered on ITV last month, the former Zoey 101 star has repeatedly expressed her desire to go back home. Jamie Lynn, 31, previously threatened to quit the survival reality series after three days in the Australian jungle. She has one daughter, Maddie, 15, with ex Casey Aldridge. She also shares Ivey Joan, five, with husband Jamie Watson.

Just two days prior to Spears’s exit, Grace, 50, left the jungle camp “on medical grounds” after she was nominated for two consecutive Bushtucker trials. Now, having returned to the UK following her jungle stint, Masterchef star Grace has broken her silence following her exit. Writing in a hefty statement, she said that was "overwhelmingly sad right now" after having to leave the show.

Dent went on to add that she had tried to carry on to build on the "huge personal breakthroughs" she had discovered over the course of the show. "I spent 15 days without a phone or any contact with loved ones, living much of the time outdoors in a rain forest in very wet weather," she wrote.

"It gave me a short, sharp glimpse into the pain some folk worldwide endure," she continued. "Normal life, forever, will always feel beautiful." Reflecting on her time on the show, she confessed she had underestimated her physical strength, saying that she was able to take on things she never thought she would. She added that she "hoped" she made viewers smile, before adding that how she had left was not how she "planned or wanted" to go.

Looking to the future, Grace said that she is still trying to "recover" from her jungle stint. In addition, she joked that "when the adrenaline finally ebbs away," she will return to her normally lavish lifestyle.

Finishing off her statement, she described her perfect meal at the time of writing: "Three courses, extra potatoes – definitely pudding; I think I deserves it. I love you all and miss my jungle crew, Miss Grace Dent xxx."
