BBC EastEnders Christmas Day killer has been revealed

BBC EastEnders Christmas Day killer has been revealed

Joe Swash has revealed that the Christmas Day murderer involved in the tense six storyline on EastEnders now knows who they are.

The six characters involved are Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

In the show, one of them will eventually be unmasked as a murderer after a currently unidentified dead body is found in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day. Teasers, flashforwards and flashbacks have been released about the story throughout the year.

Ahead of the episode, Joe sat down with the actresses for a BBC show titled The Six: Revealed, to discuss the chaos of the storyline with them and who the killer could be.

In a teaser clip, he said: "Earlier on this week, the executive producer told the murderer who they were. Let's see if we can work it out between us."

Joe said: "Stacey's killed before, in the pub, on Christmas" while Lacey, who plays Stacey replied: "It was an accident!"

Meanwhile he was seen telling Kellie, who plays Linda: "I think you're protesting too much" and speculating that Letitia, who plays Sharon in the show, wasn't giving him much eye contact. The clip ended with Joe joking: "So, ladies, does anyone want to fess up?"

However, soap fans are still convinced that the six teasers and theories are a red herring and someone else is the actual killer.

One viewer shared to X on Friday: "New theory, it's gonna be no-one in #thesix trailers… Bernie is gonna take out Keanu with the bust of good old Queen Victoria."

Coincidentally, the Christmas killing is set to take place on the same day as Keanu's wedding to Sharon, with it unclear whether she will find out the truth about their son's kidnapping or not.

It comes after all of the actresses in the six storyline attended the NTA's together in September, walking the red carpet wearing the exact same colours they are each wearing in the promo shots for the Christmas storyline.

They also made sure they were standing in the same positions as the promo photos on the red carpet. Fans were left impressed by the stunt and took to social media to praise the EastEnders team.

One fan tweeted: "This kind of coordination? Obsessed #EastEnders," alongside snaps of the six actresses.

"The six wearing their colours!!! #EastEnders," another person excitedly penned, as a third said: "The six and everything about them last night was just INCREDIBLE!!! #ntas #eastenders".
