BBC Breakfast host returns to show after sparking health concerns – with no explanation about time off | The Sun

A BBC Breakfast host returned to the show today after sparking health concerns – with no explanation about their time off.

Monday's show had seen Jon Kay host alongside Sarah Campbell, with regular co-host Sally Nugent nowhere to be seen.

But on today's show, Sally was back in her regular spot on the sofa – however she offered no explanation for her absence.

She looked as smart as ever, in a grey polo neck and black pencil skirt, with her dark hair styled in curls around her shoulders.

Sally, 52, had taken some time away from the show earlier in the month, after she seemed unwell during one show.

She was spotted with some Lemsip beside her in the studio while sounding a little hoarse as she read the headlines.

Meanwhile Jon, 53, was delighted to have her back in the BBC Breakfast studio today, along with the rest of his "crew".

The pair were also joined in the studio by weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, as well as business correspondent Ben Boulos and sports correspondent John Watson.

Taking to Instagram, Jon shared a selfie of them all around the red sofa and captioned it: "Good morning from Salford. Full squad in the studio today. #bbcbreakfast."
