Fans clocked to the comments to congratulate the couple. One wrote: "I’m so delighted you found love Paul. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together."
It appears as if their engagement was a long time coming as Lorna has been branding her beau as her the "hubby to be" for two years. The pair moved into a shared home in Christmas 2021, where they co-parent a pet snake and three cats.
Paul’s engagement news comes five years after he tragically lost his wife to brain cancer in early 2018. Stacey sadly died aged 52 following a two-year battle with the cancer.
The engagement is Paul's second chance at marital happiness after tragedy struck and he lost his first wife to brain cancer in early 2018. Stacey, who made an appearance in Paul's 1983 video for second single Come Back And Stay, lost her two-year battle with the deadly disease at the age of just 52.
Stacey, who appeared in the video for Paul's second single Come Back And Stay in 1983, married Paul in 1987. The two shared three children together, Levi, 36, Layla, 29, and son Grady Cole, 27.
The couple did split in 2006 though – and during that time Stacey welcomed her fourth child Jude, 12, with Israeli businessman Ilan Slazenger. However, the pair gave things another shot and reconciled in 2013. But they faced heartbreak when on their 30-year wedding anniversary, Stacey received her diagnosis.
Two years later, she passed away. Paul announced the her death on X, then-known as Twitter, and wrote: “Sadly Stacey has passed away today after a two-year fight with brain cancer. She died peacefully at our home surrounded by family, friends and her four children Levi, Layla, Grady and Jude.”

He also opened up about her death on This Morning in 2018, and said: “We just made the best of it for those two years. And as a family, we agreed that we [he and his children] wanted to get working and do something positive.
“That’s what she was proudest of. She was really happy for me when things started to pick up again. [We are a close family] we see each other all the time. When she first got ill, we all said we’d cut out sugar, because it aggravates cancer, so we did that as a show of solidarity really with Stacey.”
