Daisy May Cooper has revealed her new build lakeside home is being haunted by ghosts from the future.
The This Country star said a series of paranormal events have happened at the house, with her son, father also witnessing them. Daisy, who played Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC comedy, said her police officer pal even summoned cops to attend the house but then the ghost vanished.
Daisy said because her property has no history which might make it haunted by people from the past she believes the ghosts are from the future – saying Professor Stephen Hawking said time travel was a possibility.

She said: “This house that I’m living in is a brand new build, nobody’s ever lived in it. Before it was just a quarry – it’s not like any sacred land, there’s nothing they had to bulldoze. But I’ve had really weird things that have been happening in the house.
“I was on the bed with my son, and we’ve got kind of sensor lights that come on in the landing, and I heard this kind of slapping of feet on the floor and the lights came on and in ran just a pair of legs, like kids’ legs, with a pair of PE shorts on, but the rest of the torso kind of blurred.
“A pair of solid legs that ran round the bed then they vanished. The second thing was my dad saw a man wearing a Barbour jacket that was out by the hot tub. We all immediately thought it was an intruder so we ran out there and there was nobody there, and I live on a lake so there’s no way unless he swam.
“Then I had a friend who’s a police officer stayed at the house one night, there was huge crashing – as if somebody was smashing plates downstairs. She ended up phoning her boyfriend and was like ‘you might have to get some people over here, I think the house is being burgled’.
“Came downstairs there was nothing, and then my friend Selin (Hizlie) who Istar in ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’ with, stayed over the other night and heard a dog bark.
“What we think it is, because I live near water, I am seeing not ghosts from the past, but ghosts of the family from the future that move in after us.
“It’s like a time slip. If time isn’t linear which Stephen Hawking said it wasn’t, why can’t it be happening at the same time.”
