Boat trips, live cooking in a fire pit, a pre-dinner performance by ballerinas and customised cocktails were among the treats the very well-heeled guests received at the wedding of Annabelle ‘Belle’ Porter, and Max Robinson in Lake Como, northern Italy this weekend.

The stunning bride – who opted for five outfits for the three-day affair –  was joined by the Princess of Wales’ sister Pippa Middleton, and her billionaire husband James Matthews for lavish celebrations at the £90,000-a-night 17th Century Villa Balbiano.

Guests enjoyed a three-days of celebrations, starting with a cocktail party inside the villa, where attendees sipped on personalised drinks and were entertained by live music.

Ensuring no detail was forgotten, the pair had a personalised mat as they entered the plane, one of the many individualised touches of the weekend, which included monogrammed ice cubes and custom drinks.

On arrival the Belle – who was educated at Bedales and Bradfield College – stunned in an on-trend Barbie pink cocktail dress, while posing up a storm with guests.

Meanwhile Max, a clothing designer, matched in a bright pink tux.

As friends and family gathered around the Villa’s pool – which had ‘A&M’ custom floats inside – they sipped on custom cocktails including a ‘Marry Me Mule’, ‘Aperol Amore’ and’Glow with Belle’.

On the second day the bride and groom finally tied the knot, with Belle stunning in three dresses, and Pippa herself pictured letting her hair down and enjoying a dance.

As guests arrived at the Villa, they walked in the grounds with a parade of violinists.

Pippa, 39, and James, 48, certainly got in on the action dancing the night away.

While the bride opted for five designer gowns, Pippa was decidedly more practical in a £299 Dontella Ruffle Dress from high street retailer Phase Eight.

It’s not clear how Pippa knows the bride and groom, but the pair grew up in similar areas – with Bradfield College just a stone’s throw for the Middleton family home in Bucklebury.

They both run in similar circles, with Belle and Max enjoying a lavish life in South Kensington.

Max’s family run the Papouelli children’s shoe and clothes store, which is a favourite of the royal family, as well as owning a number of properties in Kensington and Chelsea.

As friends and family gathered around the Villa’s pool – which had ‘A&M’ custom floats inside – they sipped on custom cocktails including a ‘Marry Me Mule’, ‘Aperol Amore’ and’Glow with Belle’.

Guests said the wedding was a ‘faitytale’

When James and Pippa married in  2017, all of the child bridesmaids wore Papouelli shoes.
