Italy-based watchmaker Unimatic has introduced a new set of elite ProDivers timepieces, the Modello Uno U1S-PD3 and Modello Uno U1S-PD5.While similar in design, the U1S-PD3 is engineered for a water resistance of 300 meters, while its counterpart, the U1S-PD5, can withstand greater depths with a 500-meter water resistance.
A standout feature in both models is the lume-infused ceramic bezel insert, a first for the brand, offering enhanced durability, scratch resistance and an anti-reflective shine, lightening the overall look of the watch. The new dual lume feature further distinguishes these professional diver watches, with the turquoise glow-in-the-dark markers on the bezel and a matching lume minute hand to provide underwater readability.
Both models also boast a 3mm thick double domed sapphire glass and an upgraded crown tube. The U1S-PD5, despite its enhanced water resistance, retains a slim 11.6mm case, blending high performance with a sleek everyday wrist presence. The crown tube construction has been re-engineered with a new screw-in design, incorporating a double rubber O-ring mechanism to prevent water ingress, ensuring a more secure water-tight barrier.
The watches, limited to 500 pieces each, are priced at $1,157 USD for the U1S-PD3 and $1,263 USD for the U1S-PD5 and are currently available via Unimatic’s official site.
