For its latest collaboration, B.B. Simon tapped The Diplomats for a capsule collection. Celebrating the iconic American hip-hop collective comprised of Cam’ron, Freekey Zekey, Jimmy Jones, and Juelz Santana, the limited-edition range is comprised of three Dipset branded belts.
The Harlem-based rap group played a pivotal role in popularizing B.B. Simon belts during the late ’90s and early 2000s. Their influential style not only defined an era but also contributed significantly to establishing B.B. Simon belts as an iconic fashion accessory in the vibrant landscape of New York City.
The Dipset x B.B. Simon belts feature red and black crocodile straps, along with the striking pink pony fur strap. Accenting elements come in the form of vibrant pink and red crystals dressing B.B. Simon motifs and spelling out “DIPSET.” Additionally, the collection is accompanied by a series of hoodies and tees designed by Kool Kiy.
B.B. Simon also shared a collaboration with jeweler Avianne and Co. that it claims is the “Most Expensive Belt in the World.” The belt is set with 119 GIA Certified VS1 F color diamonds on a Trojan buckle crafted in 14K white gold and will be sold for $600,000 to $700,000 USD.
