George and Amal Clooney are reportedly making a major real estate move that they were hoping to keep under the radar. They have placed their beloved Lake Como villa on the market for an astounding $107 million.

This isn’t the first time there have been reports of the couple looking to offload the property, but Page Six is noting that they seem serious this time. Another one of their homes has stolen their hearts, and it’s not in Italy. It seems that the Domaine du Canadel residence they bought in 2021 in the Provence region of France is their top destination now. So for now his Lake Como estate is a “very quiet listing” with “no advertising” and “no press.” The Clooneys are, of course, looking for “high net worth” buyers who are serious about buying the residence, according to the media outlet’s source.

MEGA.

If George gets his asking price, he will have made an astounding profit since he bought the estate in 2002 for $10 million. The villa features 25 rooms with incredible A-list amenities, including an outdoor pool, a gym, a screening room, lush gardens, and a tennis court. Of course, we cannot forget that there is also that spectacular view of Lake Como, which is just steps from his property. While Amal and George have enjoyed many family holidays here, it is the very famous guest list that also gets tongues wagging. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Matt Damon, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have also visited this storied property.

The dynamic duo is making new memories at their 425-acre French wine estate which they bought for $8.3 million. Their six-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, will have the opportunity to swim in the pool, run through the olive grove, visit their very own lake, or even learn the art of wine-making on the 25-acre vineyard. It’s a big move for the Clooneys, but it seems like it’s the perfect private escape from the paparazzi.
