After fans were left shocked by Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s divorce after 14 months together, they’re left even more surprised with the alleged details coming out left and right.
Insiders have recently been alleging so many things about Asghari and Spear’s reportedly tumultuous relationship, but this latest allegation has fans fuming.
Insiders recently told the Daily Mail that Spears allegedly, “secretly believes” that Asghari may have been giving her estranged father Jamie a bunch of personal information about her at the beginning of their relationship.
“Britney has reason to believe that Sam was secretly working with her dad Jamie since early on in their relationship,” the insider alleged. “Sam would supply information to Jamie that would help to keep her locked in the conservatorship. In exchange, Sam was given access to her and her money. Britney now feels like Sam was being deceitful all along.”
The insider didn’t provide any details about this allegation, but it was a theory fans had early on in their relationship, and now, Spears may believe it.

For those who don’t know, the The Woman in Me author’s 13-year conservatorship started after her divorce from her first husband Kevin Federline, and losing custody of her two children.

Her father Jamie was the one to create it, and because of that, he, among others, had total control over her finances and career decisions. She claimed the conservatorship wouldn’t let her get off birth control, forced her to go on tour, and take medication she didn’t want to, per the BBC.
The conservatorship ended in 2021.
Now, Spears and Asghari met in 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video, and a relationship started soon after. They got engaged in Sept 2021, and married in June 2022. Asghari then filed for divorce in Aug 2023.
