Rebecca Loos has acknowledged the heartfelt well-wishes she's received from fans after her alleged 2003 'affair' was brought back up again in the new David and VictoriaBeckham Netflix documentary.
Former glamour model Rebecca, now 46, hit the headlines in 2003 after claiming she had an affair with David after working as his personal assistant.
Since the release of the Beckhams' highly-anticipated Netflix documentary and her alleged past affair with David hit headlines once again, Rebecca has received cruel messages from online trolls.
But the model, who now lives a much quieter life away from the limelight, has ignored the backlash and continued to post on social media, while subtly responding to her supportive fans who continue to send their well-wishes.
In the new docuseries Beckham, Victoria opened up about the pain she suffered following the affair claims and said it was the 'hardest' time of her life.
Since the alleged affair has resurfaced, Rebecca's followers have been sending her kind words.
One person wrote in her Instagram comments: "Hope you're ok in light of everything sweetheart, and sincerely hope everyone is kind to you these days xxx."
Rebecca responded for the first time since the docuseries and appeared to subtly thank her fans for their ongoing support as she replied with a simple love heart emoji.
Another social media user shared: "20 years ago, get over it ppl! Leave her alone."
While another fan added: "Some of the comments on here are disgusting!!! Stay strong."
It comes as Rebecca broke her silence after the Beckhams' spoke out about the football icon's alleged affair with his former PA.
On Friday, Rebecca posted a video of the snow outside, alongside the caption: "Hello Winter! Early as usual."
When she was thrust back into the spotlight again earlier in the week, Rebecca took to Instagram for the first time since the series as she showed off her latest hair transformation from Silvia's Beauty Studio.
Rebecca revealed that she was having 'Botox for the hair.'
The affair rumours first materialised when David, 48, who married Victoria, 49, in 1999, was living in Spain to play for Real Madrid in 2003 and hired Rebecca as a staff member.
She claimed that they had a sexual relationship with each other while David was married. David has always denied claims of the affair.
In April 2004, Rebecca gave a bombshell interview to News of The World, alleging that she'd had an affair with David.
Rebecca also alleged that they had their first night of passion after a trip to a nightclub in Madrid, adding: "We were just locked into each other all night conversation-wise, other people noticed … we just connected.
"I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong … people were aware and they weren't very happy."
David said her claims were "ludicrous" and they were never corroborated.
David and Victoria Beckham addressed the scandal which left their marriage hanging by a thread back in 2003 in their Netflix documentary.
In clips from the docuseries, Victoria addresses the allegations, saying: "It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us. 'Here's the thing — we were against each other, if I'm being completely honest.
"You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else, but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.
"But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either. And that's sad. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.'"
Rebecca now lives a life away from the spotlight in Norway with husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa who she met while she was filming 71 Degrees North. They married in 2012 and have two sons together.
