Molly-Mae splashes out £1200 on designer shoes and fans are calling them mum shoes

Molly-Mae Hague revealed her latest designer item on Friday- a pair of £1,200 Chanel shoes.

Although she and her fiancé Tommy Fury, who met on Love Island in 2019, have been criticised in the past for showing off their wealth, she took to Instagram to tell her followers about the purchase.

She posted a video of herself opening up a Chanel bag and box and then did a close-up of the beige and black sling-back shoes. She wrote: "Would've never thought these would suit me but I fell in love in the shop!"

One of her followers later commented: "It's giving mum", which Molly posted on her Instagram story, writing: "I'm not mad about it."

It comes after Molly-Mae and Tommy were slammed for flaunting their net worths by flying home from the holiday they got engaged on in a private jet.

Tommy shared a snapshot on social media of his designer trainers resting on the plush plane seat, accompanied by a box of snacks for their flight home.

The caption read: "heading home fiancés" followed by an eternity symbol, perfectly capturing their love-filled journey.

In the next photo, their adorable daughter Bambi could be seen smiling and surrounded by toys in her seat, with her proud dad describing her as: "my perfect angel".

The posts attracted criticism, with one of Molly's followers saying "the world is burning, please no more private jets" while others described them as tone deaf.

Molly and Tommy have also reportedly invested in extra security, two years after a break-in at their former home.

They're said to have splashed out on extra security following their engagement, which saw Tommy propose to Molly with a ring estimated to be worth at least £600,000.

In the last year, they have also welcomed their first child, a daughter named Bambi, leading to the pair further protecting their home and family life.

And in recent years, Molly has become much more conscious about flaunting her wealth online, which has led to her being targeted by thieves in the past.

A source has told The Sun that Molly-Mae has "always had security" which she has "upped" in recent months.

They told the outlet: "Molly has been really aware of flashing too much wealth following their 2021 break-in.

"She’s has always had security, but has upped it now especially she always has daughter Bambi with her."

The source added that she had been left feeling "spooked" following a number of scary incidents, including the burglary at her home.
