Cheryl reveals son Bear, 6, realised she and ex Liam Payne are famous and hes lucky

Cheryl has sweetly revealed that her six year old son, Bear, has realised that she and his dad, One Direction singer Liam Payne, are famous.

The 40 year old star, who announced that she would be heading on a reunion tour with Girls Aloud, often keeps her son out of the spotlight, but recently shared some rare sweet details with British Vogue.

The proud mum said that Bear thinks it is “pretty cool” that both of his parents are famous singers, although Cheryl wants him to have a “normal childhood”.

She told the publication: “The problem is that I want Bear to have a normal childhood. I don't want people recognising him on the street. But he's twigged that I'm famous. The other day he said ‘How lucky am I to have famous parents?’ I said, ‘It doesn't matter.’ He goes: ‘Yeah. But it's pretty cool’.”

Cheryl was previously married to Jean Fernandez-Versini who she divorced in 2016, before she started dating Liam. After two years together and one year after welcoming their son, the duo announced that they had gone their separate ways on Twitter.

Cheryl Penned: “We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make.”

The former The X Factor judge added: "We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."

Just one day after Girls Aloud announced they were going on tour across the UK and Ireland, the band mates appeared on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday morning.

Zoe couldn’t help but ask Cheryl how her son was, to which she said: “Bear is delicious and not a baby anymore. We blinked and we're here almost seven!”.
