Paris Hilton excited to open Britney Spears book sent by singer
Britney Spears is already worth millions after more than two decades as one of the biggest pop stars in the world – but she’s set to rake in even more cash with the release of her long-awaited memoir, The Woman In Me.
The book, which hit store shelves Oct. 24, sees Spears telling her life story in her own words for the first time, two years after she was freed from a restrictive conservatorship.
As she wrote, the Toxic singer revealed bombshells about many people in her life, including her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, and ex-husband and father of her two children, Kevin Federline.
While fans have been left gobsmacked by some of the reveals, including one about an abortion when she was dating Timberlake, the singer stands to greatly profit from the proceeds.
As it turns out, when she decided to write the book, she also signed a lucrative deal.

According to TMZ, Spears was given a $12.5 million advance for the book, but that will be more than covered from the book’s sales.
More than 400,000 copies have already been sold, and it is currently selling on Amazon for $22.38. The Kindle version goes for $16.99, and the audio CD is $29.69.
The original price of the book is $32.99 (£25.00)
At the original MSRP, 400,000 copies already sends her over her advance at more than $13 million in sales.

More impressive though, is that Spears will also get 25% of the net profits from the book in addition to the advance.
With the book already potentially surpassing her advance, Spears is set to already be raking in more than $100k in pure profit, and more is likely to come as the book continues to sell copies.
Considering the number of bombshells, and her massive fanbase, this could prove to be a massively lucrative deal for the singer.
In addition to the money, the book is also something that many have hoped helped her through some of the trauma she has faced in her life.

Speaking on the Behind the Table podcast this week, The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin shared that while a part of her sympathized with Justin Timberlake as well when it came to the abortion reveal, she was also hopeful that writing the book was therapeutic for the singer.
“I do hope for her, talking about it was helpful and now you see how important having kids was to her. She’s got her kids, she had talked about wanting to have more…I could dissect how Britney was treated for hours,” she said.
Britney Spears’s memoir, The Woman in Me, published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, is available now wherever books are sold.
