BBC Strictlys Karen Hauer shares cryptic update amid split from husband after 16 months of marriage

Karen Hauer has shared a rather cryptic personal update while taking part in an Instagram Q&A.

The professional dancer, who stars on the popular BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, addressed fan questions amid her reported split from husband Jordan Wyn-Jones.

One fan asked the dancer: "How are you doing?" to which she rather cryptically replied: "I'm OK I think."

Another of Karen's followers asked what her favourite book is, leading to her recommending Lighter by Yung Pueblo, a non-fiction book that encourages the reader to "let go of the past", which she labelled her "fav book at the moment" and rated five stars.

Karen and her husband Jordan tied the knot in June last year with their ceremony described as a "fairytale" at the time, however, it has since been reported that the pair have called time on the relationship.

A source told the Mirror: "Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split.

"It's obviously very sad for both of them. But there's no ill-will whatsoever. The split is amicable, and they wish each other the best."

Rumours of a split had emerged earlier this month when Karen was snapped attending the Pride of Britain Awards without her wedding ring.

Karen had also made an appearance on Good Morning Britain earlier that same week, during which appeared to be hiding her wedding ring hand with a long black sleeve top.

Prior to tying the knot with Jordan, Karen had been married twice before, first to former dance partner, Matthew Hauer, whom she split from in 2009.

She then tied the knot with fellow Strictly pro Kevin Clifton in 2015. The pair later announced their separation in March 2018.

Kevin has since had a baby with his former Strictly partner, Stacey Dooley, whom he met on the show in 2019.

Karen later told The Sun she'd been "blindsided" by how quickly Kevin moved on, whilst she was left "struggling to get out of bed", and described the break-up as the "toughest period of her life", crediting her rescue dog Betty for helping her get through the struggle.

She told the outlet: "I went through a really tough divorce, and it was the most difficult thing I’ve faced on my own. Betty saved my life, pretty much. Having that unconditional love and having her there to help me actually get up out of bed.

"I am structured and I am disciplined but when emotional things happen to you, nothing you do on the outside helps."
