Sue Radford, the matriarch of Channel 5’s 22 Kids And Counting, has shared the nightmare trip she endured when she found herself on a flight in mid-air as Storm Babet raged on around her.
The star, who keeps fans updated on her antics with her extraordinarily large family via Instagram, checked in with her 517,000 followers today to share a video from the plane.
It could be seen shaking intensely from side to side and wobbling around as the mum-of-22 filmed the screen, before groaning: “I can’t watch!”
She captioned the footage: “This was us trying to land during Storm Babet. This was the first attempt before the pilot aborted landing.
“He then tried for a second time before another aborted landing. We then got diverted to Birmingham as he just couldn’t safely land the plane in Manchester – these pilots are amazing!”

She added: “You can see the plane going sideways just before the wheels nearly touch down before going back up!
“I’m not a nervous flyer, but this was bad,” she concluded in memory of the terrifying episode.
Storm Babet has been raging on since October 16 in various parts of the UK, causing carnage and huge floods, and Sue didn’t specify the exact date when her heart-in-mouth film footage was filmed.
However, as her brood have been pumpkin carving at a Haven holiday park in Britain this week, it seems likely that the flight she posted footage from was the one heading home from Dubai earlier this month.

The Radfords shared a three-minute clip yesterday detailing how their early half-term holiday had shaped up in the opulent Emirate plane.
Sue and her husband Noel looked delighted to have arrived in the desert, donning traditional headgear and embarking on a camel ride, before Noel surfed his way down a sand dune, leaving his wife in hysterics.
They also indulged in dune bashing in a four-wheel-drive car, leading one viewer to exclaim: “Thought you were at Haven Holiday Park.”
Sue clarified: “This was filmed the other week”, while the fan responded: “Confusing, lol!”

Sue revealed on the video that she’d “totally forgotten” to tell anyone her location.
“As you can probably tell we are definitely not in England!” she joked, before giving away that the camel ride was taking place in Dubai.
Despite the terrifying journey back home, it seems the pair, who’d revealed they’d never ridden a camel before, thoroughly enjoyed their getaway.
Prior to that, they were holidaying in Florida with members of their huge brood, when Sue ran into trouble again – this time at a restaurant after accidentally choking on a prawn.
