I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Nicola McLean, who was known as the "queen of shower scenes" in her 2008 series, has noticed a change in this year's ITV show. She pointed out that there were no female shower scenes this time around, only male ones.

Nicola told the Daily Star: "We literally have not seen any of them on the show. They must have showered so maybe it's in everyone's contract that you don't film them in the shower now then?"

She suggested starting a campaign to bring back the shower scenes, adding: "Listen, I can understand if they don't want to because everything's gone so that way, that they don't want to sexualise women as much as they did before.

"But then it should be equal, but instead, it's not, as we are still seeing the men. It's really odd like, it must be like a conscious decision by ITV but why I don't know why, but unfortunately we saw plenty of Nigel Farage."

At the start of the show, Nicola had predicted Danielle Harold would "smash" the show's shower scenes.

Nicola previously said: "I reckon Danielle will be the one who will look the best this year – yeah, she's definitely got the in the bag.

"She will definitely be this series' bikini babe and she will certainly smash the shower scenes for sure."

The former Page 3 model confessed that she always tried to grab as much screen time as possible by taking a shower every day for "front page shots".

She said: "So, we were freezing so the only time you were in your bikini was for the shower and most people were like 'We aren't doing it', because you are getting wet and there was no way to dry and it was miserable.

"I knew what I was doing 100% and I thought I'm getting in that shower it was awful but I'm going to maximise it for the most I could, and that was my sort of role in there."
