16 hopefuls joined the controversial series to find love with a total stranger and a wave of brutal dumpings and surprise connections have dominated the popular series. As the show draws to a close \u2013 fans were left stunned after a series of shocking results from the couples\u2019 vow renewal ceremonies.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the most shocking moment was Ella dumped JJ despite them both having left their respective partners for each other. Ella, who is the show\u2019s first transgender contestant, thanked him for accepting her as she was, but shared that he was \u201cnot the one\u201d.<\/p>\n

JJ reintegrated the sentiment telling her they were \u201cbetter as friends\u201d. \u201cOh well that was a surprise!!!\u201d said one fan.<\/p>\n
\u201ci am SHOCKED. was convinced JJ would leave and Ella would stay!!!\u201d shared a second. A third added: \u201cI'm glad Ella got in there 1st, this wasn't meant to be.\u201d Fans also blasted Adrienne and Matt\u2019s decision to stay together after she revealed she did not want children.<\/p>\n

With Matt admitting he had \u201calways wanted kids\u201d \u2013 fans were stunned when he said he was willing to forego his dream to be with her. After declaring they were both willing to give their relationship a go and stay married \u2013 fans blasted the decision<\/p>\n
\u201cNooo Matt don\u2019t compromise on a family, it will make you miserable," said one fan. "Two lovely people BUT I feel for Matt who feels like he needs to give up on his hearts desire for kids for the love of Adrienne which is so unfair," penned a second.<\/p>\n
