Nigel Farage says he is taking legal action against NatWest<\/h3>\n

I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here! is in serious talks with Nigel Farage\u2019s team about making an exception for the Brexit Party leader about one important rule.<\/p>\n

It has been heavily rumoured that Nigel, 59, has signed up for this year\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

Farage could be joining the likes of Jamie Lynn Spears – who is the younger sister to Britney Spears – and This Morning\u2019s Josie Gibson who have both been tipped to be on the line-up.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m A Celeb contestants are subject to strict rules in camp \u2013 one being a smoking ban.<\/p>\n

According to an insider, Farage\u2019s representatives are in big discussions to come to a potential compromise for him to smoke cigarettes during his stint in the jungle.<\/p>\n

Speaking in a recent interview on the Paper Cuts podcast, political journalist Ava Evans said:\u00a0<\/span>“Would you like some insider knowledge of why Nigel Farage was considering not doing it? It is the smoking ban.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou can’t smoke and he is a very heavy smoker”, Ava told host Miranda Sawyer.<\/p>\n

Ava proceeded to claim that producers are now in talks with Nigel team to come to a potential compromise.<\/p>\n

She added: “I think that’s being negotiated. “That was a discussion that Chris Moyles also had last year because he is also a very heavy smoker.”<\/p>\n

Other past I’m A Celebrity stars who manged to get around this rule include\u00a0<\/span>Kerry Katona and Jenny McAlpine. They were seen on the show puffing away on camera during their stints. <\/span><\/p>\n

ITV has claimed that there is no smoking ban, however, stars with a nicotine habit must only light up in an allocated area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A show source told The Sun in 2019: “Celebrities who smoke are allowed to smoke in camp. “They have to smoke near the campfire and then put stubs out in the fire\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nigel Farage has never hidden his smoking habit, and has been photographed puffing on cigarettes on multiple occasions throughout his political career.<\/span><\/p>\n
