Coronation Street star Erin Austen made her debut as Crystal Hyde this year, but her life off screen is miles away from the drama on the cobbles.<\/p>\n

Erin, 29 joined the hit ITV soap in March this year as club promoter Crystal but left Weatherfield after her potential love interest Ryan was involved in a traumatic acid attack. The soap star has now returned to the cobbles, much to the delight of viewers.<\/p>\n

Announcing her Corrie return Erin took to Instagram on Monday and wrote: "Crystal\u2019s back on the cobbles tonight.. the real one not the catfish". She accompanied the post with a selfie in her red ITV studio jacket and another in the dressing room. <\/p>\n

But away from the likes of The Rovers Return Inn the actress leads a rather luxurious life and is often sharing sun-soaked snaps from her latest venture and loved-up posts with her long-term boyfriend. Let's take a closer look at her life off screen…<\/p>\n

The 29 year old hails from Liverpool and quickly became a fan favourite in Corrie. But before her debut this year starred in TV shows The Athena in 2019 and The Royals in 2015. <\/p>\n

Before her return to the cobbles this week, Erin posted snaps from a lavish getaway with her boyfriend who works as a consultant. The soap star beamed as she held a cocktail poolside while donning a black bikini.<\/p>\n

Other photos saw the couple posing together in the sunshine, exploring the city and going on a luxurious boat trip. While she didn't disclose where they went it offered gorgeous weather, quaint streets and inviting blue waters.<\/p>\n

With the series of snaps, Erin added the caption: "Last week was the best." Other adventures for the soap star this year include a trip to Greece island hopping and Portugal for a pal's hen do. <\/p>\n

In between getaways, Erin can also be found posting stunning selfies and Corrie updates following her debut in March this year. She also has an adorable pooch who featured back in October 2022. <\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram to celebrate their birthday, Erin posted a selfie with him and gushed: "Back to Liverpool for my sons 6th birthday, he was elated x"<\/p>\n

Her boyfriend, Dean Catlow regularly features on her Instagram in selfies and holidays together. Celebrating his birthday in April last year Erin posted a sweet snap together and wrote: "HBD to my bestmate, housemate and the cheapest therapist I\u2019ve ever had."<\/p>\n

The couple were flooded with comments as one fan wrote: "You two are too cute! Happy Birthday Dean!" while a second said: "Beautiful Couple Happy Birthday Dean."<\/p>\n

Actress Domenique Fragale also commented: "awh beautiful couple." Not much else is known about her boyfriend, but the birthday posts suggest they live together and they've been together for quite a while. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
