Psychiatrists could obviously tell that I was a bit of a mess.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Hairdresser\u00a0Gemma signed up to Season 7 of MAFS\u00a0while hiding an addiction to booze and cocaine that had spanned a decade.<\/p>\n<p>Gemma, from Exmouth, Devon, told\u00a0The Cabin Recovery podcast: \u201cI thought, \u2018I need to stop at least before I go on the show because it\u2019s not going to be accessible.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as you know with addiction you just swap one of the other. Although there wasn\u2019t cocaine around, there certainly was a lot of\u00a0alcohol\u00a0in those big glass decanters.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>On the show she was paired with Matt Murray but their relationship went south and he &#x27;cheated&#x27; on her with fellow bride Whitney Hughes.<\/p>\n<p>After leaving the show, Gemma was blowing so much\u00a0money\u00a0on cocaine that she lost her home &#8211; leaving her and her two sons homeless.<\/p>\n<p>She admitted: \u201cI lost my home in the middle of all of that.
