Six-time Grammy Award winner Amy Grant has joined Cory Asbury for a new version of “These Are Days,” a song from Asbury’s fifth album, Pioneer.

Asbury, Ethan Hulse and Paul Mabury co-wrote “These Are the Days.”

The new version of the song finds Grant turning in a restrained performance, adding harmonies to Asbury’s vocals. Grant calls “These Are the Days” one of the best songs she’d heard in a long time.

“This might be one of the best songs I have heard in a long time,” shares Grant. “It makes me teary every time I hear it. I’m so glad Cory asked me to sing on it.”

“What can I say… Amy is an absolute legend and I am incredibly honored she joined me on this one” says Asbury. “Never dreamed I’d get to sing with Amy, but here we are. Hope y’all enjoy it!!”

“So tell ’em bed time stories / Give ’em a kiss good night / Darlin’ before we know it / This old house will be quiet / I know we’re tired right now / Someday we’ll laugh about it / Let’s slow it down and raise a glass / ‘Cause these are the days that we’ll want back,” Asbury sings at the chorus.

The song became very popular after country superstar Luke Combs and his wife Nicole< chose it as the soundtrack for a social media post announcing the birth of their second child, Beau.

The tune has since become a big hit on Instagram and TikTok, racking up over five million streams. Now, with Amy joining the track, the number is set to rise multi-fold.
