Different regions might choose different ways of using the fund to support people, with the City of York Council paying \u00a3185 in November.<\/p>\n<p>If you live in this area, you might have already been sent an invitation at the end of April if the council thought you were eligible.<\/p>\n<p>But you may not be eligible to apply without receiving the invitation link, although you &quot;must require urgent financial assistance and not have enough income or savings to meet the eligible costs the scheme can help with&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Those who were verified are set to receive \u00a3186 by the end of June, then another \u00a3185 by late November. Also Birmingham City Council is offering grants of up to \u00a3200 to households with financial struggles. <\/p>\n<p>It&apos;s always worth checking what your local council is paying out through the Household Support Fund.
