Adele Roberts is the latest star to join the Dancing On Ice cast, and is set to make history on the series.<\/p>\n
The BBC Radio 1 host is proud to be making show history as the first contestant with a stoma bag. <\/p>\n
The 44-year-old joked that she hoped that the bag, which she calls Audrey, will behave.<\/p>\n
Audrey is a diva. She is very excited to see you today, so she\u2019s already been problematic.<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019ve not seen her on ice yet, but we\u2019re going to find out,\u2019 she quipped.<\/p>\n
\u2018All I want to say, Audrey, is, I only want to dance on the ice, I don\u2019t want to be doing anything else on the ice. So stay inside please.\u2019<\/p>\n
While speaking about her inclusion on Lorraine, she said: \u2018It\u2019s \u2018bricking it on ice\u2019 for me! <\/p>\n

\u2018I think the hardest part is putting myself out there as I\u00a0usually hide away.\u00a0I did radio as it\u2019s not visual.\u00a0That\u2019s going to be a big challenge.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Adele, who was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer in\u00a0October 2021 before getting the all-clear in June 2022, said: \u2018After cancer I have my life back;\u00a0I actually can\u2019t wait for the glam!\u2019<\/p>\n
She continued: \u2018Two years ago today I\u2019d just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. I didn\u2019t know what stage cancer I had at the time. I didn\u2019t know if I was going to live or die.<\/p>\n
\u2018To think, two years on I\u2019m sat here with you [Lorraine Kelly] talking about Dancing on Ice \u2013 it\u2019s the greatest feeling in the world.\u2019<\/p>\n
She also revealed that she didn\u2019t know whether she would be partnered with a man or woman. <\/p>\n
One thing\u2019s for sure \u2013 she has the full support of partner Kate Holderness, who is excited to see her on the ice. <\/p>\n
Although, she may want to close her eyes during the famous headbanger which Adele is \u2018totally up for\u2019. <\/p>\n
The move involves being held by the ankles and swung around.<\/p>\n

EastEnders icon Ricky Norwood was announced as the ninth contestant confirmed for Dancing On Ice.<\/p>\n
Appearing on Wednesday\u2019s Loose Women, the 40-year-old said: \u2018I\u2019m very excited! Very scared, but very excited! It\u2019s come at a great time in life.\u2019<\/p>\n
He added: \u2018Being on the ice! I\u2019m apprehensive about the lifts, especially the headbanger.<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019ve got to trust in the process, trust in the training, trust in the trainers.\u2019<\/p>\n

Comedian Lou Sanders was revealed to be the eighth celebrity taking part.<\/p>\n
Sharing the news with Nihal Arthanayake on Radio 5 Live, the 37-year-old said: \u2018I\u2019m nervous about cracking my head open, or just bashing the old head.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018I can\u2019t afford to lose any more brain cells. I\u2019m also worried about my partner picking me up, he\u2019s going to have to be very strong and very brave.\u2019<\/p>\n
Lou has appeared on a variety of TV shows, including Taskmaster, Travel Man and Would I Lie to You?, but this will be her first major stint on a reality show.<\/p>\n

\u2018I keep thinking about how I\u2019m going to need to have rhythm while balancing on a thin blade and that\u2019s when I feel the nerves kick in, but this is such an unbelievable opportunity to get totally out of my comfort zone.\u2019<\/p>\n

Speaking on GMB, Greg, 36, expressed his excitement over taking part, admitting that he\u2019s going for the win and sharing that he wants to achieve daring stunts on the ice with his professional partner.<\/p>\n
\u2018My kids love dancing around so hopefully they are going to enjoy watching me dance with blades on my feet!\u2019 he told Susanna and Ed.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old said she was looking forward to working with \u2018an amazing pro\u2019 \u2013 who she\u2019s not had the chance to meet yet \u2013 and is determined not to let \u2018the adrenaline\u2019 get the better of her.<\/p>\n

The actress and singer, who was a founding member of the 1990s pop group with hits including Don\u2019t Stop Movin\u2019, Bring It All Back, and Never Had A Dream Come True, shared the news on ITV\u2019s Good Morning Britain.<\/p>\n
The 42-year-old said: \u2018I\u2019m really excited about learning a new skill. It\u2019s so easy to live your comfortable life and that aspect of mixing things up is very appealing.<\/p>\n
\u2018Fitness is another reason why I\u2019m doing it! It\u2019s really exciting.\u2019<\/p>\n

Claire Sweeney has already joined one huge show this year \u2013 Coronation Street \u2013 but is carving out time for another.<\/p>\n
The 52-year-old, who has also appeared in Brookside and Doctors, shared the news\u00a0on\u00a0ITV\u2019s This Morning.<\/p>\n
She said: \u2018I\u2019m really looking forward to going to an\u00a0ice<\/em>\u00a0rink with my son and actually being able to skate and not have to use the penguins they give you to help you stay upright!\u201d<\/p>\n Claire added: \u2018I\u2019ve had to wear my boots around the house\u2026 I haven\u2019t stepped\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0ice\u00a0yet.\u2019<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Former world champion boxer Ricky Hatton was announced as the very first contestant in the upcoming series of\u00a0Dancing\u00a0On\u00a0Ice.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old, who officially retired from boxing in November 2012 before returning to the ring for an exhibition match last year, was unveiled as a participant during Tuesday\u2019s episode of This Morning.<\/p>\n When asked how he thinks he\u2019ll do in the competition, he said: \u2018If I can hold my nerve in the boxing ring I should be able to hold my nerve in the ice rink. I like setting new challenges and keeping myself busy!
