THE owner of the UK's "cheapest shop" loved by early Christmas shoppers says its goodies cost you 85 per cent less than in major stores.<\/p>\n

A little-known outlet in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, attracts shoppers with a nose for a deal when stocking up on festive supplies and gifts.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

And The Sun revealed the hefty savings can be found at WD Bargains, based in an industrial unit on the town's fringes.<\/p>\n

It offers products – at a fraction of their regular retail price – by high-end brands such as Armani, Hugo Boss, Jo Malone and Ted Baker.<\/p>\n

Snips to be snapped up included \u00a370 Ralph Lauren scented candles for just \u00a310 instead – a whopping 85% saving.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ted Baker diffusers are available for a tenner too – \u00a324 down on what would be charged elsewhere.<\/p>\n

WD Bargains owner Karl Darley said: "People come from miles away because we\u2019re so cheap.<\/p>\n

"If we spot something that we can sell cheaper than the supermarkets, then we will buy it."<\/p>\n

Customers cashing in included NHS worker Annette Talbot, 50, and 12-year-old daughter who bought 36 Coca-Cola cans for \u00a310 – whereas Iceland offered 24 for \u00a313.<\/p>\n

Annette also bought a 7.5kg bag of James Wellbeloved dog food for a third of its \u00a335.99 cost from Pets at Home.<\/p>\n

She told of spending \u00a380 on "food and drink, gifts and pet food", whereas elsewhere the same amount would go "just on the gifts".<\/p>\n

WD Bargains, known to locals as Bee\u2019s Bargains as well, has also been offering three packs of Guylian Belgian chocolates for \u00a310 – instead of the usual \u00a36.50 for just one – and \u00a330 Laura Ashley pillows for a fiver.<\/p>\n

Another mum, 37-year-old Lindsay French, opted for 24 packs of Pipers crisps for \u00a37, two \u00a32.50 biscuit boxes and a bottle of branded vodka for \u00a313.<\/p>\n

She said: "We love it here – it\u2019s cheap and there\u2019s everything you could want in one place.<\/p>\n

"It means we can have a fun Christmas and not break the bank."<\/p>\n
