Brendan Cole shared that while he thinks Angela Rippon \u201ccan go all the way\u201d to the Strictly Come Dancing final, he predicts \u201ctime will play against her\u201d eventually.<\/p>\n
The former Strictly professional, 47, gave his verdict on Angela and partner Kai Widdrington\u2019s Foxtrot to You Make Me Feel So Young by Frank Sinatra. He said that while it was a \u201cpretty dance\u201d, the veteran presenter \u201cwasn\u2019t hitting a particularly wonderful ballroom position\u201d.<\/p>\n
He continued to Sky Bingo: \u201cShe’s 78 years old. What are we expecting? I think time will play against her in the show because it is very demanding and trying to make two numbers look good is very different to trying to make one number good.<\/p>\n
\u201cHalf the time on a number can make a number go from being really nice, to really awful. I’ve no doubt that she’ll probably get to week eight or nine and that’d be great, but then once you step into two numbers, and you’ve got show dances and whatever, that becomes a tricky thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brendan, who was one of the original Strictly pros and remained on the series for 15 years, also said the show\u2019s need for \u201cdiversity\u201d will not act in Angela\u2019s favour.<\/p>\n
