Weeks after concern for Krayzie Bone\u2019s health was raised as he revealed he was hospitalised, the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper has given fans an update.<\/p>\n
The 50-year-old was rushed into care at the end of September after he reportedly coughed up large amounts of blood.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Krayzie had a leaking artery in one of his lungs following a CT scan, HotNewHipHop reported and needed emergency medical attention.<\/p>\n
In a terrifying turn, doctors were initially unable to stop the bleeding and Krayzie \u2013 real name Anthony Henderson \u2013 was placed under sedation. <\/p>\n
He was \u2018fighting for his life\u2019 but Krayzie has given a reassuring update to worried friends and fans on Instagram.<\/p>\n
Along with a selfie in the hospital, he wrote: \u2018Just fought for life Literally for 9 days straight. <\/p>\n

Krayzie was still surrounded by medical equipment in his picture but was sat up and out of bed, looking like he was on the road to recovery.<\/p>\n
He continued: \u2018I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me. Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! <\/p>\n
\u2018Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them.\u2019<\/p>\n
The musician was previously diagnosed with sarcoidosis, which is a rare condition that causes small patches of swollen tissue, called granulomas, to develop in the organs of the body.<\/p>\n

Months before the hospitalisation, Krayzie had reportedly quit smoking too.<\/p>\n
Krayzie was a founding member of legendary hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony with\u00a0Layzie Bone and Wish Bone.<\/p>\n
The group won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a duo or group in 1997 with tribute track Tha Crossroads, which was dedicated to NWA star Eazy-E.<\/p>\n
A decade later, Krayzie won the same award for his collaboration with Chamillionaire, Ridin.<\/p>\n
