TV presenter Jonnie Irwin has celebrated his seven-year wedding anniversary with his wife, before sharing the details in a touching Instagram post today.<\/p>\n
The former Place In The Sun host appeared to put his health woes to one side to mark the special milestone with an intimate dinner date.<\/p>\n
The star captioned the post: “Seven years married to this angel. I use this term because the love she shows to others is beyond comparison.<\/p>\n
“Last night was just us; chatting, planning and gossiping. So good. Amazing food and staff at @lovagejesmond made our evening perfect. #anniversary.”<\/p>\n
Last November, Jonnie revealed that he had been diagnosed with incurable cancer.<\/p>\n
READ MORE: <\/strong> Coronation Street star ‘joins’ Dancing On Ice as brother performs on Strictly<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n He first discovered symptoms whilst he was filming for A Place In The Sun and noticed his vision started to blur.<\/p>\n Jonnie made a return to television last month.<\/p>\n During a new episode of Escape to the Country, the star made an appearance in Somerset.<\/p>\n He uploaded an Instagram post last week saying: “Good news to start the week, there\u2019s a brand new episode of @escape_country airing tomorrow on @bbcone at 3 pm and it\u2019s one of mine!<\/p>\n “I head down to Somerset and look at some fantastic rural properties in some beautiful locations. Plus I also get to visit a cider farm- perks of the job.
