Jeremy Vine has been left shaken after being knocked off his bike by a van.<\/p>\n
The 58-year-old was wearing a camera on his helmet so has a recording of the incident, which he shared on social media.<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t the first time that Jeremy has made this kind of post online \u2013 he often wears the recording device while cycling, and then publishes clips of drivers that he claims are misbehaving.<\/p>\n
In his latest video, shared with his 788,000 X followers, he wrote: \u2018This morning. About an hour ago.<\/p>\n
\u2018Illegal right turn, then watch. Unbelievable.\u2019<\/p>\n
As the van ran over his bike, Jeremy banged on the back to alert the driver and is heard shouting \u2018s**t\u2019 as the events unfold. <\/p>\n

The person in control of the vehicle eventually seemed to hear and drove off the bike again, and away from Jeremy who was positioned behind the van.<\/p>\n
Someone then appeared and apologised to Jeremy, and helped him to carry the bike onto the pavement.<\/p>\n
When Jeremy is asked: \u2018Are you okay, sir?\u2019, he responded with \u2018Just come over here\u2019.<\/p>\n
He later added: \u2018Wow\u2019.<\/p>\n

One person replied to his tweet containing the footage with: \u2018You went through a red light\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s green [sic]. Don\u2019t drive. Please,\u2019 he wrote.<\/p>\n

He also took screenshots and circled the traffic lights to answer back to X users who questioned whether he had cycled through a red light.<\/p>\n
Jeremy has some passionate views on bike safety.<\/p>\n
As well as being a crusader against drivers, who he considers to be breaking the rules, he has recently come up with his own ideas for the future. <\/p>\n
\u2018I do think, firstly, we shouldn\u2019t allow any overtaking of bicycles in big cities. That\u2019s one step. And I\u2019m starting to think I want cars to pull over if they see me behind them because they know I\u2019m faster,\u2019 he explained to The Times.<\/p>\n
