“Because that’s the new thing, nepotism is absolutely a badge now. You can’t hide from the privilege you have in our society, it’s brutal. So, she was just joking that her friends call her nepo babe because her dad’s famous.<\/p>\n
“In the past, it would be that, you know, the father or the mother in broadcasting would get their kids the work experience \u2013 that won’t happen anymore.<\/p>\n
“I wouldn’t dream of trying to get them any advantage inside any place that I work. So, if they want to try for a career in journalism, good luck \u2013 but that’s not something I feel that I can help with.”<\/p>\n
