Holly Willoughby and Dermot O\u2019Leary paid an emotional tribute to late This Morning star Matty Lock as the show got underway on Monday.<\/p>\n
Early on in the episode, the presenting duo took a moment to remember the late politician and campaigner following his tragic death at the age of just 19.<\/p>\n
Lock had appeared on the\u00a0ITV\u00a0daytime show, reviewing vacuum cleaners and sharing his passion for them, which started when he was just two years old and got his first toy Henry hoover.<\/p>\n
\u2018He was a much loved member of our team who never failed to bring joy and warmth to our studio,\u2019 Holly told viewers. \u2018With an infectious passion for gadgets and technology, it was truly unique.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018Bless him, his love of vacuum cleaners started when he was just two years old, he received his first toy Henry,\u2019 Dermot added. \u2018He went onto become a politician, a campaigner and a much loved member of the show.<\/p>\n
\u2018He was a lovely guy.\u2019<\/p>\n

Holly continued: \u2018Matty will be missed by all of us here, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family.\u2019<\/p>\n
Back in 2018, aged just 13, Lock had sold around 300 vacuums to cleaning companies, private homeowners, and his teachers.<\/p>\n
Taking to social media, the official This Morning page wrote that the team are \u2018shocked\u2019 by his sudden death.<\/p>\n

Alongside a photo of him on the programme with the dates 2004-2023, they wrote: \u2018Everyone at This Morning is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matty Lock, aged just 19.<\/p>\n
\u2018He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious.<\/p>\n
