Virgin River season five, part one introduced Doc Mullins\u2019 (played by Tim Matheson) former college sweetheart Rose (Susan Hogan) as she journeyed to the Northern California town to reconnect with him.<\/p>\n
She came to the town after Doc\u2019s grandson Denny Cutler (Kai Bradbury) arrived in season four and brought plenty of bombshells with him.<\/p>\n
Doc was left shocked after believing he never had any children for so long.<\/p>\n
At college, Rose fell pregnant with Doc\u2019s child but kept it secret from him with Denny showing up in town after losing his parents.<\/p>\n
Rose broke up with Doc by writing a letter and saying she\u2019d met someone else with Virgin River\u2019s medic left in the dark about becoming a father.<\/p>\n
