Holly Willoughby was quick to apologise as she opened up about her wardrobe blunder for the NTA ceremony.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, a wave of celebrities within the television world attended the grand event with a series of awards up for grabs.<\/p>\n

One of which included This Morning, who was nominated for Best Daytime Show as the cast dressed to the nines, including presenter Holly.<\/p>\n

Wearing a skin-tight purple dress, the 42-year-old blew fans away with her glamorous outfit.<\/p>\n

However, it looks as though it wasn\u2019t as glam as it looked as she opened up about the struggle with the dress on Wednesday\u2019s This Morning.<\/p>\n

Speaking with her co-host Craig Doyle, she said: \u201c\u2018I loved my dress last night and I love getting dressed up and all glammed up.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the problem with the dress is that it was a bit wiggly around the old thighs.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I had to go for a pee in the hotel, sorry for sharing so much right now but I am going to tell the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star explained that due to the fit of the outfit, it meant she was unable to get back out of it once it was fully on.<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cI couldn\u2019t pull it up to go for a pee and I was also tied in so tightly so nothing fell out of the top that I couldn\u2019t pull it down!<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I had to go in the hotel\u2026and that was it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Admitting she didn\u2019t go to the toilet until after she left the O2 around five or six hours later, she didn\u2019t drink as much as she\u2019d of liked.<\/p>\n

The presenter continued: \u201cI only had about half a glass of prosecco.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During the event, This Morning lost its reigning title of Best Daytime Show, the first time it went to another programme since 1998.<\/p>\n

Instead, BBC\u2019s The Repair Shop bagged the award as presenter Jay Blades was clearly stunned to have won in the category.<\/p>\n

Taking a moment to take a snap with his colleagues on stage, he said: \u201cWe’re the new kids on the block and I’m glad we won this time.<\/p>\n

“I know it won’t be a regular thing but we’ve done it this time so thank you, thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

This Morning continues weekdays on ITV from 10am<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
