Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has revealed a sad health update, one year after her mother’s death.<\/p>\n
The singer and actress, 37, said she has been suffering from memory loss since she lost her mum last year, following the Grease star’s 20-year battle with breast cancer.<\/p>\n
She added that she is also struggling to get out of bed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I have not been okay. I’ve had extreme memory loss and difficulty getting out of bed. I’ve been neglecting myself,’ she explained in an Instagram video.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘One of my mum’s biggest messages was to take care of yourself. So, I’m gonna disappear for about three weeks because I’m developing health issues in my mind and body.’<\/p>\n

Chloe apologised to her family and friends for not meeting some commitments and said she hoped after returning from a month off she would be in a better place.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I look forward to coming home to my power. I will see you at the walk!’ she added, referencing her mother’s annual Walk for Wellness, which will host its 10th event in Melbourne in October to raise funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.<\/p>\n
Chloe’s followers were quick to offer her their well-wishes during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
‘Can’t wait to hold you honey,’ wrote her actress cousin Tottie Goldsmith, while Gogglebox Australia’s Angie Kent posted some love heart emojis.<\/p>\n

Chloe is Olivia’s only child, born in 1986 from her first marriage to actor Matt Lattanzi.<\/p>\n
Olivia died<\/span>\u00a0at age 73\u00a0at her home in Santa Ynez, California on August 8 last year, following a 20-year battle with breast\u00a0<\/span>cancer.<\/p>\n She fought several brave battles against cancer and after first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, which was successfully treated and went into remission.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chloe apologised to her family and friends for not meeting some commitments and said she hoped after returning from a month off she would be in a better place\u00a0<\/p>\n However, she later revealed the cancer returned in 2013, though she once again recovered from it.<\/p>\n Her final bout with the disease began with a 2017 diagnosis of its recurrence. This time, the cancer developed to stage IV \u2014 the most advanced \u2014 and spread to her bones.<\/p>\n Olivia’s death resulted in an outpouring of public grief and heartfelt tributes from those close to her including Grease co-star John Travolta and Victorian premier Dan Andrews, who offered a state funeral in her honour.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chloe is the only child of Olivia, who died on August 8, 2022<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Olivia died over a year ago at her Southern California home after her third bout with breast cancer. It spread to her bones and progressed to stage IV<\/p>\n
