Is the question that\u2019s on everybody\u2019s lips: just how does The Simpsons predict the future?<\/p>\n

For the uninitiated, the long-running cartoon has been credited with predicting many major world events, including the sinking of the Titanic sub, years before they took place.<\/p>\n

The show, which follows the antics of Marge, Homer, Lisa, Bart and Maggie Simpson, as well as other Springfield residents, was also spot-on about Elon Musk rebranding Twitter to X and Greta Gerwig\u2019s feminist reimagining of Barbie.<\/p>\n

But just how do they do it? Well, according to YouTube channel Chuppl there is one simple explanation.<\/p>\n

The team argues The Simpsons\u2019 accurate predictions are all down to the writers\u2019 background, explaining that most have backgrounds in maths and social sciences and therefore well versed in trends.<\/p>\n
