James, 45, believes the former Emmerdale actor could go all the way to the end, adding: “People are just going to love him.”<\/p>\n
The couple shared their thoughts when asked about who they think could win the Glitterball trophy, by Hello! Magazine.<\/p>\n
Adam will take to the dance floor alongside 14 other celebrities hoping to be crowned this year’s winner.<\/p>\n
Those competing against him are; Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon, Layton William, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Eddie Kadi, Angela Scanlon, Zara McDermott, Nikita Kanda, Ellie Leach, Jody Cundy CBE, Bobby Brazier, Nigel Harman, Annabel Croft and Les Dennis.<\/p>\n
The actor has insisted he “can’t dance” to save his life, but was “buzzing to learn and have a good laugh”.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Adam revealed he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.<\/p>\n On Instagram, he told fans: “I\u2019ve been in a lot of pain since January.<\/p>\n \u201cIt started with my knees and then travelled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to say that “several blood tests” and many trips to the doctors had finally determined the problem.<\/p>\n Despite his health woes however, the actor said he is “up for the challenge” on Strictly.<\/p>\n “It’s all about stepping outside your comfort zone and doing your best,” he said in a video.<\/p>\n Adam went on to thank fans for their support so far and said he couldn’t wait to meet his co-stars.<\/p>\n At the weekend, the ex I’m A Celebrity star celebrated his birthday with fellow hopeful Nigel on the first day of rehearsals.<\/p>\n The professional dancers and celebrities were filmed singing Happy Birthday to the pair as they took a break from dancing.<\/p>\n He said of Nigel: “Happy birthday big man… never actually told you today, but you\u2019ve been a big inspiration of mine! Happy to share this moment with you.”<\/p>\n Adam also teased that fans were “in for a real treat” with this year’s series.<\/p>\n
