Holly and Phil open This Morning on Monday
This Morning viewers were quick to comment on Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s reaction to the “feud” claims during Monday’s instalment of the show.
After the duo failed to address the relationship breakdown claims, they started off the show with the top headlines of the day.
Viewers took to Twitter to joke about how they had ignored the top story of the day, meaning their alleged fallout.
@PrincessPKaur said: “Discussing the *headlines*…everything is loaded isn’t it. #ThisMorning”
Amy added: “Bet they don’t discuss the real top headline! #ThisMorning”
Burntwood76 added: “‘Here let’s talk about today’s headlines..’ yes let’s talk about THAT.”

Kaitlyn Murphy commented: “Phil and Holly are on the front of half the newspapers today – doubt they will talk about it. #ThisMorning”

The duo were all smiles and laughter as they talked with Gyles Brandreth about the latest headlines.
Viewers also claimed they could spot the “tension” between the pair as they brushed over the feud.
Danny Horne said: “I notice that Phil is constantly looking at @hollywills and smiling like everything is ok. She’s hardly looking at him and aiming everything at the guests. Tension. Knife. You know. #ThisMorning #Tension #PhillipSchofield #HollyWilloughby.”
Holly is yet to officially comment on Phillip’s statement but sources have said she was left “blindsided”.
Phillip released a statement to the press which read: “As I have said before, Holly is my rock.
“We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her. The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.”
This Morning airs on ITV on weekdays from 10am.
