STRICTLY head judge Shirley Ballas has told how she's seeking medical attention after being bombarded with "alarming" messages from fans.
Viewers got in touch claiming to have spotted a "lump under her arm" while watching her on TV.
Posting a video on Instagram before filming tonight's live show, Shirley said: "I got some alarming messages from people saying that when I picked my arm up they could see lumps or bumps.
"I have been self-checking and can't feel anything, but I'm going to go to the doctors on Tuesday."
The 61-year-old suffered a fresh cancer alert over a lump in her shoulder back in June.
There is a history of cancer in Shirley’s family and she has already had two scares. Now she is hoping the latest swelling is just a ganglion, a benign growth.
The Strictly Come Dancing favourite said at the time: “It’s something between two bones and they are not really sure what it is yet.
“They have done the dye and the MRIs plus this and that. I get the results in a few weeks. The gentleman seems to think it will be fine but, still, it is worrying.”
Shirley’s mum Audrey was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2019, her grandmother had several procedures to combat the disease and her aunt also suffered from it.
She had her DD breast implants removed two years ago after a growth was discovered in her chest and had a colonoscopy after some worrying findings.
A ganglion may disappear with little or no treatment or may require surgery to be removed.
