Dan Walker has been injured in Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals, just days before Saturday's live show.
Dan and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova sailed through to Week Nine – Musicals Week – after dancing the American Smooth last weekend.
But fans are concerned that their Strictly future could be in jeopardy after Dan shared his grisly injury during training with his legions of loyal followers – throwing the show into chaos.
Dan was "kicked in the head" by his Strictly partner while learning the Charleston with choreographers Jenny Thomas and Sean Moon.
However, it looks like Dan is still in good spirits, as he shared a selfie of the four of them together, as he posed with an arm around Nadiya and a hand raised in the air.
Dan wrote on Twitter: "Charleston week… got kicked in the head by @NadiyaBychkova today but it was a great laugh learning from Jenny and Sean. Looking forward to the weekend."
He further explained on Instagram: "Brilliant session learning the Charleston today with @jennytaps1 @sean.moon & my professional partner @nadiyabychkova.
"They have put together such a fun routine with loads of lifts," he added.
"High point: I think I can swivel. Low point: Nadiya kneed me in the chin.
"Can’t wait for the weekend," Dan concluded.
Nadiya quickly responded to Dan's post as she offered a heartfelt apology for the blunder.
She penned: "I am so sorry partner. But yes, you can swivel. Let’s focus on this, not your chin – sorry again!"
Concerned fans also turned out in the comments section, as one wrote: "Clearly you need to up the level of your risk assessment Dan."
"If you are accidentally going to get kicked in the head you could do worse than Nadiya. Careful NB, don’t injure him!!" someone else warned.
As a third social media user followed up: "Hope you are okay Dan can't wait till Saturday!"
"Oooops!!! Poor chin!" another fan echoed.
It comes as Dan was absent from BBC Breakfast on Wednesday and replaced by Jon Kay in a presenter shake-up.
Dan, meanwhile, is busy in London – presumably rehearsing for Saturday's live show – as he tweeted a snap of a restaurant menu tagged #LondonPrices.
The Sheffield-based star hit out: "I’m not sure what causes more distress… the ‘fruit selection’ for £13 or the 8 quid chips!"
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One.
