Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) has a shock in store for girlfriend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) in Coronation Street when he reveals his desire to get married to her – admitting that he has really fallen for her. But is he moving too fast?
The young couple have quickly become besotted with one another after getting together recently and they have bonded and felt safe together.
With both sides letting their guards down around one another, Seb took the step of moving in with Nina and Roy Cropper (David Neilson).
But when Seb starts talking about marriage, will he scare Nina off? As Nina and Seb scour the internet for a suitable necklace for Abi on her wedding day, Seb makes a light hearted comment about buying her an engagement ring. Roy’s troubled by what he hears.
Picking up on this, Seb suggests to Nina that perhaps they’ve taken things too quickly and he should move back out. Nina’s taken aback and questions his feelings.
However, it’s clear that Nina’s feelings for Seb are as strong as ever and, despite a wedding being a long way off, it’s evident they’re for keeps.
Harry recently told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think Seb is a bit of a romantic at heart. I think his reckless nature in itself explains why he just wouldn’t give a thought to the fact that it’s moving too fast.
‘At the end of the day, it feels good, he feels happy, she’s making him happy, what does too fast mean? I think that’s his perspective on it.’
But while Nina and Seb are enjoying being together, one person determined to make them suffer is spiteful thug Corey (Maximus Evans).
He and his group of yobbish mates target Nina and Seb when they are enjoying a romantic walk, confronting Nina and mocking her goth style.
And later, the young couple are ambushed and subjected to a brutal attack that lands them in hospital and leaves Roy and Abi (Sally Franklin) frantic with worry and horror. Can the relationship survive this horrifying turn of events?
