Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is on a mission to get what she wants in EastEnders, and therefore issues Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) with a proposition.
Linda quizzed Sharon about whether or not she had a part to play in Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) attack, and she was left in shock when her best mate admitted to being responsible.
The former landlady of the Queen Vic understood Sharon’s motivations in wanting revenge, but she felt her decision to let Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) take the blame was unforgivable.
Recent scenes have seen both Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda use their knowledge as a bargaining chip, and thus Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) — desperate to keep both his and Sharon’s secret — has been assisting the Carters in their mission to locate missing Tina.
However, it appears that, in addition to Tina being returned home safely, Linda wants something else.
The first of Friday’s (February 12) two editions of the BBC One soap see Mick and Linda head to The Queen Vic for a drink.
While there, Mick reminisces about his time behind the bar. He tells Linda that — despite the fact leaving was the right call — he still misses it all so much.
Sharon approaches, and Linda decides to take her aside for a little chat.
Still reeling from Sharon’s betrayal, Linda has something of a proposition for her former best mate.
The question is: just what is it that she wants?
What’s more, just how far is Sharon willing to go in order to make amends with Linda and her family?
EastEnders airs these scenes Friday January 12 at 8:10pm on BBC One.
