Rachel Stevens posts pic of rarely seen daughter Amelie, 11, in break from Dancing On Ice rehearsals

RACHEL Stevens has given fans a rare glimpse of her daughter Amelie as the youngster celebrates her 11th birthday.

Former S Club 7 star Rachel has taken some time out from her Dancing On Ice training to mark her little girl's special day.

Taking to Instagram, the singer has shared two pictures of Amelie, who she describes as "kind" and "caring".

One black and white shot shows the schoolgirl holding her fingers in a peace sign while grinning at the camera.

The second is a stunning colour photograph of Rachel's beautiful daughter.

Writing next to the snaps, the proud mum said: "11 today! Happy birthday darling girl❤️ Growing up so fast..

"You have the hugest heart, so kind, caring, sensitive, creative with the most amazing energy!

"We are so proud of you in every way. Love you so much Amelie Boo❤️."

Fans were quick to comment, with some pointing out the likeness between Rachel, 43, and her daughter.

One wrote: "Aw happy birthday, looks just like her Mum!"

Another said: "Beautiful! Image of you."

A third simply commented: "Mini-me!"

Rachel has two daughters with her husband Alex Bourne. The couple are also parents to Minnie, seven.

In January, Rachel will show off her newly-acquired skating skills in the 2022 series of Dancing On Ice.

The former pop star has been partnered with pro skater Brendyn Hatfield and they have been busy training during every free moment.

Last month, Rachel hit back at fans who claimed she has an advantage over other contestants due to her previous dance training.

Along with her pop career, the mum-of-two was a runner-up in the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

But speaking to The Sun, Rachel said: "It's unfair. They said the same thing when I did Strictly.

"I'm not a trained dancer so going into that was totally out of my comfort zone and a different way of performing.

"Now add the ice element to it and it's a whole new ball game."
